Today, for the #kinderblog challenge, I'm going to introduce my favorite coworkers.
I can't choose just one. My kindergarten team is wonderful. We, of course, have our rough spots. We don't always get along, and sometimes it's easier for us to see each others' flaws than our strengths. Overall, though, they're a great group of teachers to work with.
The teacher I share a coat room with has been a wonderful mentor to me this year. She has helped me through a new (to me) curriculum and helped me to organize all of the extra stuff kindergarten is made of. She's also really supportive and a great listener. I love her as a person just as much as I love her as a teacher.
The teacher across the hall is the most like me of the three. She is a sweet, caring person, and she is easy to carry on a conversation with. She also specializes in behavior disorders, so she has been a great help to me this year. My favorite thing about her is watching her be a wife and a mother. She is truly amazing. Her family is super lucky.
The teacher kitty-corner across the hall from me is the greatest to vent to. She has been teaching the longest of all of them, so she has many helpful bits of advice. She is incredibly dedicated to her job, and I know she puts in many extra hours devoted to her students.
There is a good chance that I'm going to move to first grade with this group of students next year. I'm going to miss working with this great group of teachers. Though, I know I'll love the first grade team too!
